… The Organiser’s Report
What was the first Arts&Crafts Market at the Ebenezer Chapel, Tonypandy like? Was it good?
Let our customers answer the questions:
“I managed to get both my daughters and daughter-in-laws birthday presents and a cheeky scarf for me too.”
Another customer added:
“It was great. I only bought a pot of honey this time, but great stalls!”
And what did our craftspeople think?
Jan’s message represents our craftspeople:
“Thank you for a lovely morning at the Arts + Craft sale, it was nice to meet you all! Looking forward to the next one now, please could you book me a space.”
They will all be back next month. And many more. We’ve got 17 bookings already for our A&C Market on March 2nd. With Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 11th, our market is the ideal place to look for extraordinary presents. Stunning handmade jewellery, Welsh honey and candles, soaps, amazing memory bears and outstanding art works in felting technique, unique body wraps, cosy blanket, and so much more, it’s virtually impossible not to buy the perfect item.
The only criticism we got was: not long enough. Hence we agreed with our sellers and some potential customers who turned up after we had finished and were utterly
disappointed to make the A&C Market an all day event. From March 2nd the market will start at 10am and go on until 6 (or even later) to give people a chance of popping in after work. Very helpful a week before Mother’s Day.
Judging by the first event, the Arts&Crafts Market at the Ebenezer Chapel, Tonypandy has the potential to become an attraction and a great feature for Tonypandy.
Oh, one last thing: if you’re a cupcake, cake, jam, etc. maker get in touch! You’re just the maker we’re looking for.

Remember to note it in your diary… the next event is on Friday 2nd March 2018, 10am!
